Mathosaurus I is English/Spanish bi-lingual. When Spanish is selected in the Options menu, the dinosaurs speak in Spanish, and all screen directions are in Spanish. Mathosaurus I also has been awarded the 2004 Teachers' Choice Award For the Family by Learning Magazine. Children count sets to 10, match sets to numerals 1 - 10, create matching sets, and compare sets to determine which is more or which is less.

Dinosaurs are everywhere as students match sets and numerals to twenty, match sets and number words to ten, and sequence by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's. Children practice using the concepts of less than and greater than with Professor Rex. At the Dino Lagoon, adding and subtracting to 10 is introduced as playful dinosaurs submerge and surface.

This fun, interactive game designed to strengthen language arts skills through drill and reinforcement activities. The player maneuvers an avatar- the Muncher- around a game board filled with words and letters. The player must select or "munch" the correct answers, as directed by the prompt. The goal is to "munch" as many correct answers as possible to generate points. Incorrect answers result in the Muncher becoming ill and dying.
