Since 1979 Attainment Company has been dedicated to helping people with cognitive disabilities succeed at school, work and life. Attainment has a growing older adult product line for Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia. Attainment continued its collaboration with the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, to develop two interventions to teach academics aligned with general education curriculum to students with significant cognitive disabilities, focusing on secondary level content and performance standards: Teaching to Standards MATH and Teaching to Standards SCIENCE. To be released in early 2009, is a new GO Talk Pocket, a re-engineered upgrade of Attainment's first talker, the Pocket GoTalk.
