| Description |
Stickybear Phonics 2 is designed to build knowledge by teaching the young child to sound out words. Video is fully integrated into every lesson. Professional actors accurately demonstrate the material, allowing children to see how the mouth shapes sound and hear each word correctly pronounced. The student reproduces each sound immediately after demonstration. Stickybear Phonics 2 introduces consonant blends, vowel blends, and mixed consonants, and vowel blends. The self-paced lessons include animated short stories and interactive on-screen activities. Review and practice are stressed in the video segments and the amusing animations encourage performance. Each of the three volumes is stand-alone. School Versions and above include freely reproducible lesson plans and manipulative masters.
