Each tool has its own ‘object,’ and you can set the layout of the card by changing the location or the layers of objects with the Object Tool.

Summary of Object Tool

This tool edits and manages objects created on a card. Select Switch Tool under Object on menu bar to use object tools. Use Main Menu or Toolbar for Object Tool for main object tool operations.

Object tools can edit following types of objects:

Text Objects Text tool can edit these objects.
Table Objects Table tool can edit these objects.
Spreadsheet Objects Spreadsheet tool can edit these objects.
Chart Objects Chart tool can edit these objects.
Draw Objects Draw tool can edit these objects.
Animation Objects Animation tool can edit these objects.
Digital Video Objects Digital Video Tool can edit these objects.
Laserdisk Objects Laserdisk tool can edit these objects.
Web Objects Web tool can edit these objects.
Button Object Button tool can edit these objects.

Note: Chart objects can be created only from Table tool or Spreadsheet tool.

Each tool enables students to draw pictures and figures or make tables and graphs. Items created are saved as cards or clips. You can collect created cards or put clips together on cards and make your own presentation. For that, Leonardo’s Multimedia Toolbox contains following three modes. - Edit Mode - Preview Mode - Presentation Mode

Three Modes

Edit Mode
Edit mode is for making a new project or editing existing projects. You can create data by using each tool and make your own presentation with created data.

Preview Mode
Preview mode is for viewing created projects such as confirming button actions.

Presentation Mode
Presentation mode is for giving presentations with created projects (menu and status bar are not displayed in this mode). You can use this application for making various presentations not only for students giving presentations with their created projects.
