Enticing a Child Incident
On the morning of Wednesday July 29th, a 13 year old female was walking to her school bus stop when she noticed a small black SUV folloWing her. The driver honked at her as he drove by. He made a U-turn and pulled up beside her. The driver repeatedly told her to get into his vehicle. She told him “no” and continued to walk. The suspect made several U-turns and continued trying to entice the juvenile to get into his vehicle. She
refused each time and kept walking. The suspect pulled into a driveway ahead of her, got out of his vehicle and began walking toward her. He kept trying to talk her into accepting a ride with him. At that point she ran off in another direction. The victim went home and called her mother, who notified the police.
Suspect: Hispanic male, 20 – 25 years old, with black hair cut in a military style, clean shaven, 5’-10” – 6’-00”, 190 - 200 lbs. He was wearing a black jacket, blue denim jeans, and black shoes. He spoke to the victim in English and Spanish, routinely going back and forth between both languages.
Vehicle: Newer model Black or Dark Colored SUV, possibly a Chevrolet. The vehicle has dark tinted Windows. This vehicle has been seen numerous times in the area.
